Character. Improvisation. Scene work.
Use imagination, objectives, relationships, story structure and stagecraft to bring ideas to life.
The academy brings together performance, rhythm, voice, movement and media so students learn to create across disciplines.

Use imagination, objectives, relationships, story structure and stagecraft to bring ideas to life.

Develop stronger vocal expression, listening, public speaking and the courage to be heard.

Explore African drumming, Jamaican rhythm, coordination, musical communication and group responsibility.

Build physical confidence through movement, theatre games, choreography and embodied storytelling.

Develop teamwork through group creation, rehearsal, problem-solving and responsibility for the ensemble.

Where appropriate, projects may extend into film, recorded content, showcases, productions and public presentation.
A student may use rhythm to strengthen speech, movement to unlock character, storytelling to shape film, and ensemble work to build leadership. That connected approach is the point.
The programme should leave students with stronger technique, stronger self-belief and tangible work they helped create.
We are starting from Grade 1 / approximately age 6 and up. We collect age and grade so we can organise students into the most sensible learning groups as the programme develops.
