COMMUNITY & ACCESS

A great programme only works if families can reach it.

We are listening to families as we shape a Saturday programme that is practical, accessible and worth making part of the weekly routine.

WHY WE ASK ABOUT COMMUNITY

We’re planning around real family needs.

The interest form asks which community your family is coming from, your Kingston district or parish, a nearby landmark or main road, and what kind of Saturday travel would be practical for your family.

That helps us understand common travel patterns, timing preferences and whether transport support could make participation easier.

01

Where are families coming from?

Community, address and district help us understand your journey.

02

How far will families travel?

Travel tolerance helps separate “nearby” from genuinely practical.

03

What transport is available?

Parent drop-off, route taxi/bus, carpool or organised pickup all change feasibility.

04

When works best?

Saturday timing affects access just as much as geography.

ACCESS DETAILS WE’LL ASK FOR

Specific enough to plan. Simple enough to answer.

COMMUNITY

“Which community are you coming from?”

Examples may include Mona, Papine, August Town, Liguanea, Half-Way Tree, Cross Roads and others.

ADDRESS

Street address + nearest landmark.

We collect enough detail to understand travel and communicate clearly with families.

DISTRICT

Kingston 1–20 / St Andrew / other.

Kingston 7, 8, 10 and the other district labels parents actually use are built into the form.
